Alix Schulz is the Oxford Human Rights Hub’s Regional Correspondent for Germany and Austria. She obtained a law degree at the University of Freiburg and recently completed the MJur at the University of Oxford. At Oxford, Alix focused on Comparative Equality Law and Family Law and volunteered as a researcher with Oxford Pro Bono Publico.
Upon her return from Oxford, Alix will be a research assistant at the University of Heidelberg and write a doctoral thesis on gender diversity in private international law. As co-author, Alix has published several articles in the field of private international law, including publications on gender equality in international divorce proceedings or companies’ liability for human rights violations committed abroad. Alix holds scholarships by the German National Academic Foundation and the German Academic Exchange Service.
