Human Rights Law and the Treatment of Rape Victims

Oxford Human Rights Hub Associate Director, Associate-Professor Liora Lazarus talks about how important it is for researchers of law to influence government policy, and how she has leveraged her own specialism in human rights to the benefit of society.

This short film takes a look at the 2010 Stern Review of how rape complaints are handled by public authorities in England and Wales, with comments from Baroness Vivian Stern and Parliamentary Legal Adviser to the Joint Committee on Human Rights, Professor Murray Hunt.
