Motunrola Bisi-Afolabi is the Oxford Human Rights Hub’s Regional Correspondent for West Africa. She recently completed the BCL at the University of Oxford. At Oxford, she was also the Graduate Officer of the Oxford Union where she represented the needs of the Graduate student members of the Oxford Union. She holds an LL.B. from the University of Surrey, England. She is also a qualified Barrister in Nigeria. Motunrola mentors young people through her website, which is devoted to empowering students through their education by providing practical tips, advice and lessons. As the Oxford Human Rights Hub’s Regional Correspondent for West Africa, she writes and researches on the most important human rights developments in the region while also liaising with potential contributors including academics, practitioners, and policy-makers for the Hub. Motunrola is passionate about law, human rights, education and gender equality.
