Fellowship Opportunity at the European Human Rights Advocacy Centre (EHRAC)

The European Human Rights Advocacy Centre (EHRAC) is an independent human rights centre that uses international legal mechanisms to challenge serious human rights abuses in Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Ukraine, in partnership with committed local lawyers and NGOs.

EHRAC looking for a passionate human rights advocate from the Former Soviet Union to join the team from January 2022 as a Fellow on a part time basis. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to shape the fellowship based on previous experience, interests and skills.

Typical tasks could include assisting in legal case research; helping draft submissions to human rights mechanisms; attending case meetings and trainings on human rights litigation; translation of key legal documents; providing interpretation on strategic calls with partner NGOs in the region; assisting in fundraising research and grant applications; contributing to the website through blogs on human rights issues and social media content; providing support for major external events; and supporting research for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
