Abortion in Context Seminar: Politics & Abortion in Texas: State Power vs Women’s Autonomy by Susan Hays

Susan Hays (Appellate Attorney, Austin, Texas & Litigation Director, Jane’s Due Process) will be speaking about the Texas abortion case now before the US Supreme Court Whole Woman’s Health v Hellerstedt. The central question in the case: does driving 300 miles to an abortion clinic create a substantial obstacle under Planned Parenthood?

This is part of the ‘Aboriton in Context Seminar’ hosted by University College, Oxford. The series examines issues on abortion from a variety of disciplinary perspectives.
