Bhimraj Muthu

Bhimraj Muthu is currently pursuing a DPhil at the Faculty of Law, University of Oxford, as a Gopal Subramaniam Graduate Scholar and is one of the co-authors of the Indian Supreme Court’s 2025 Report on Judicial Conceptions of Caste. He completed his MPhil in Law with distinction at Oxford in 2024 as a Ratanshaw Bomanji Zaiwalla Scholar. It is noteworthy that he is the first Dalit to receive either of the above-mentioned scholarships from the Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development.
