Swapnil Singh is a PhD scholar at the Centre for the Study of Law and Governance, Jawaharlal Nehru University. In 2026, she will join the School of Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science as a Letten PhD Fellow. Her research explores the criminalisation of love in law and society, and is drawn to the defiant ways people claim love in the face of barriers.
