Sanchita Hosali

Sanchita is a recognised expert in human rights policy and practice, with over fifteen years of working on human rights issues in the UK and internationally. As BIHR’s Deputy Director Sanchita oversees operations and manages the delivery of BIHR’s education, outreach and information resources and practice-based projects. Sanchita leads on policy and campaigning work, which focuses on maintaining and progressing human rights protections in the UK. Sanchita has a specialist expertise in human rights and violence against women, and has previously worked in policy and development roles, as a freelance consultant working with the legal community and governmental agencies, and an academic researcher. Sanchita was formerly the Chair of the Trustee Board of Rights of Women, a legal charity.
