Congratulations to Godfrey Olebogeng Radijenh on Being Appointed to the High Court of Botswana

A warm congratulations to Godfrey Olebogeng Radijeng (Exeter College, DPhil, Oxon, 2004) from Botswana has been appointed Judge of the High Court of Botswana on a permanent basis effective 1st July 2017. Justice Radijeng has been an Acting Judge of the High Court since September 2015. He attained his doctoral degree at Oxford University in 2004, for a thesis on “Customary Law and Gender Equality: The Legal Status of Women in Botswana” under the supervision of Professor Sandra Freedman.

Justice Godfrey O. Radijeng’s career began as a Lecturer at the University of Botswana in 1997, with concurrent private legal practice. He has also worked in State corporations as a Legal Advisor, for UNICEF (Botswana) as a Child Protection Specialist and has regulatory experience in Information Communication Technologies (Telecommunications and Broadcasting). His life interests have been Human rights and constitutionalism.
