Internship at the ILO on ‘Care Jobs and Care Economy’

The International Labour Organization is working on a report “Care Jobs and the Care Economy” to be published in March 2018. They are searching for an intern to work with during the drafting phase. The paid internship will be of a duration of 6 months, starting at the latest on 1 August 2017, with a monthly stipend of CHF 2,200.  The internship will be at the Gender, Equality and Diversity & ILOAID Branch.

Candidate requirements:

PhD recent graduate or PhD candidate (in her/his last year), in economics or social sciences

Research work on care policies, care jobs or gender and work issues

Outstanding writing skills in English, other UN languages preferable

Excellent research skills, possibly with a quantitative background
