On the 12 June 2015, OxHRH Associate, Dr Cathryn Costello with Professor Mark Freeland presented their research ‘Seasonal Workers and Intra-Corporate Transferees in EU Law: Capital’s Handmaidens?’ at the Onati International Institute for Sociology conference on Temporary Labour Migration in a globalised World: The Regulatory Challenges. Their paper built on previous research on the intersections between migration and labour law, as reflected in their co-edited collection Migrants and Work: Immigration and Vulnerability in Labour Law (OUP, 2014).

The conference was co-organised by Oxford alumnus Dr Joanna Howe (University of Adelaide) with Professor Rosemary Owens (University of Adelaide). Also presenting were  Oxford alumnus Dr Mimi Zou (Chinese University of Hong Kong), and colleagues Professor Martin Ruhs (COMPAS, Oxford University) and Dr Virginia Mantouvalou (UCL) and Dr Nicola Countouris (UCL).
