St Hugh’s Law Society presents Dominic Grieve to discuss his former role as Attorney General and his opposition to the replacement of the Human Rights Act with a British Bill of Rights. This will be particularly useful for law students studying EU law this term.

Dominic Grieve studied at Magdalen College, Oxford. He was subsequently called to the Bar in 1980 and appointed QC in 2008. He has been an MP for Beaconsfield since 1997 and served as Attorney General for England and Wales and Advocate General for Northern Ireland from 2010 to 2014. He is currently Chair of the Intelligence and Security Committee of Parliament.
