India’s draft National Policy for Persons with Disabilities – Recommendations and Comments

Government of India’s Department of Empowerment for Persons with Disabilities sough recommendations and comments from National Law School of India University (NLSIU) on its latest draft National Policy for Persons with Disabilities 2022. NLSIU held a roundtable on Friday, 1st July, 2022, and collaborated with Oxford Human Rights Hub and Harvard Law School Project on Disability. The set of recommendations are drafted by Prof. Dr. Sanjay Jain, Prof. Dr. Sony Pellisery, Mr. Rahul Bajaj and all the distinguished invitees during the roundtable in the preparation of this document. It also includes inputs from the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, New Delhi.
