In this lecture Justice Kirby gave a nuanced critique of the recent Indian Supreme Court decision in Naz Foundation. He presented 15 points that he saw as ‘unsatisfactory’ in the Supreme Court’s published reasons. He also responded to a number of engaging questions posed by an enthusiastic audience.
This seminar was based on the Tagore Lectures delivered at the University of Calcutta, December 2013.
